Bike shops in Austin

Bike shops help riders keep their bikes safe, smooth and ready to roll. Many offer tune-ups and repairs, suspension service for forks and shocks, rentals for a day or a weekend, and bike fits, along with apparel such as jerseys. When choosing one, ask whether the shop does the work in-house or sends it out, since that affects turnaround time. Check that the mechanic works on your type of bike, whether it is a commuter, a road bike or a mountain bike. Booking a tune-up or fork service a week or more ahead is a good idea during busy riding season, when shops fill up fast.
