Austin Habitat for Humanity

Austin Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit that builds and repairs homes across Central Texas. Its programs include a homeownership program for buyers of new homes, home repair, homebuyer education and housing counseling. The nonprofit also runs ReStore, a resale store selling donated furniture, appliances and home decor, with locations in South Austin, Northwest Austin and San Marcos.

The main office is in South Austin, in the same building as the South Austin ReStore. Donations of household goods can be dropped off or scheduled for pickup, and donation doors close thirty minutes before the store closes. Shoppers can browse ReStore inventory online and join ReStore Rewards, which earns a point for every dollar spent. Volunteers can sign up for an orientation.
