Cherrydale Volunteer

Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department supplements the career Arlington County Fire Department with volunteer firefighters and EMTs. After training, volunteers may ride with career crews or staff volunteer-owned units during emergencies. The station also rents Binns Memorial Hall, a second-floor social hall in its historic firehouse.

The hall is rented for recurring use, such as club meetings and weekly classes, and firefighter-themed birthday parties are no longer offered. It seats 225 for a stand-up reception or 125 for a banquet, and includes 20 tables, a sound system, a stage with podium, air conditioning, and a mini kitchen. Amplified sound must end by 10 PM, and alcohol is allowed subject to conditions and fees. There is no designated parking, but metered and non-metered street parking is nearby.
