The Rug Company

The Rug Company sells new and antique-style rugs, including flat-woven, hand-knotted, machine-loomed wool, polypropylene, braided, contemporary, shag, and sheepskin styles. Wool and polypropylene runners are sold by the foot, and the shop also carries rug pads and rods and repairs rugs. Many rugs are displayed in standard sizes such as 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, and 5x8, with some 8x10 and 8x11 sizes in stock and custom or odd sizes available to order.

Most special orders arrive in about four to ten days, with custom pieces and some braids taking longer. Prices are not listed on the website for every rug, so it is worth calling or stopping in to ask. Online purchasing is not available, so buying happens in the store on East College Avenue in Appleton.
