Baby Bear Cranial Clinic

Baby Bear Cranial Clinic is a pediatric orthotics practice that fits cranial remolding helmets for infants with head shape concerns. The clinic also provides lower limb orthotics for children with leg weakness, instability or deformity, and scoliosis bracing for adolescents with mild to moderate curves who are still growing. Founder Cassie Mathis is a certified prosthetist-orthotist, and occupational therapist Callie Huft works on the team as a certified orthotic assistant.

Free consultations are available, and families do not need a referral to come in for an assessment, though the clinic coordinates with physicians, physical therapists and orthopedic doctors on care plans. Scoliosis bracing starts with an X-ray and a prescription from the referring physician. The office is at 2535 Northern Rd. in Appleton, and the clinic also offers free educational consults.
