The Community Blood Center

The Community Blood Center collects blood and platelets for hospitals and patients across the Midwest, and it has been doing so since 1955. Donors can give at its donor center on West Spencer Street in Appleton, which serves as the main hub, or at other donor centers in Green Bay, Little Chute, Wausau, Woodruff and Beverly on Chicago's South Side.

The organization also runs weekly donation opportunities at local sites in Oshkosh, Merrill and Rhinelander, and it hosts blood drives that community groups can sponsor. Donors can schedule a donation by phone or email, and the center's site lists current donor center hours and upcoming drives.
