Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic

Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic is a 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital for cats and dogs. Its emergency veterinarians are on staff around the clock and handle urgent and critical cases, with in-house digital x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory testing done while you wait. Simple wound repair and emergency surgery are both handled on site, along with overnight intensive care in a dedicated ICU ward.

The clinic is a member of the Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center, so specialists in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, neurology and other fields work in the same building when a pet needs them, though after-hours specialist consults are not guaranteed. Exotic and pocket pets are not seen at this time. The clinic serves Annapolis, Edgewater, Severna Park and the surrounding area, and the Bestgate Road facility includes a fenced walking area. Owners with questions can call the client service team during the day.
