Wrights Karate

Wright's Karate teaches Isshinryu karate, a style developed by Sensei Shimabuku, with classes built around kata, basic techniques and kumite. The dojo also offers functional training, conditioning and personal training that can be modified to suit each client's needs. Students of different ages train here, including children, and parents have described the instruction as patient and encouraging.

The dojo is at 4597 Platt Road in Ann Arbor, and the phone line is the way to ask about joining or the current schedule. A black belt is always on the floor to help students as needed. Visitors can also send a message through the website's contact form.
