Vickis Wash & Wear Haircuts

Vicki's Wash & Wear Haircuts is a home-based haircut shop where Vicki cuts hair dry for men, women and children, and she is known for handling curly hair so it doesn't shrink up. Her wash & wear method cuts hair to do what it naturally does, so there is no washing, blow drying, curling, perms or color. All cuts are $50.

Appointments are required, and walk-ins are not taken. Clients should arrive with clean, dry hair without product, ponytails or clips. Payment is cash, check or Venmo, since credit cards are not accepted. The shop is a converted garden shed beside her home on Murray Avenue in Ann Arbor's Old West Side. Parking is in the driveway or on the street. There is no waiting area or bathroom, and the step and small size mean it is not wheelchair accessible. Anyone with cold, flu or covid symptoms is asked to reschedule.
