Vertex Coffee Roasters is a queer and woman-owned coffee shop that opened in June 2019 in Ann Arbor. The drink menu covers drip and flash-chilled coffee, espresso drinks, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, house-made chai, matcha, hot chocolate, and manual pour-over methods with rotating selections. Tea is sourced from Tea Haus, and syrups and chai are made in-house.
The Ann Arbor shop on South University Avenue has indoor and patio seating, and a second location opened in Ypsilanti in early 2024. All of the coffee is roasted at the company's roastery in Milan, Michigan. Both cafes offer seasonal rotating specials, and gift cards are available. The company focuses on quality, sustainability, zero-waste practices and hosting community and arts events.
