Ann Arbor Community Church
Multi-generational church rooted in the historic Christian creeds

Campus coffeehouse with local art and live music1511 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI

The Common Cup is a non-profit coffeehouse in the basement of University Lutheran Chapel, opened in 2007 just off Central Campus. It serves espresso drinks, drip and pour-over coffee, teas, chai, Italian sodas and smoothies, with baked goods from local bakeries and seasonal specials that rotate. Local artists show work on the downstairs walls, and the space hosts live music and seasonal events, including an annual Christmas market.
The room is popular with undergraduates, graduate students and professionals who study, meet or work there for a few minutes or several hours. It has books, games and puzzles to browse, outlets, wifi and free parking. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the chapel basement entrance at 1511 Washtenaw Ave, and they can shift with the university calendar.
