Three Chairs

Three Chairs sells home furnishings for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and offices, along with lighting. The collection centers on durable upholstered and slipcovered furniture in a range of fabrics, drawn from vendors the store has worked with for about 20 years, and some pieces are exclusive to the brand. Furniture is built to order by craftsmen who inspect and sign each piece before it leaves their shop.

Shoppers work with one designer throughout a project, and the store offers design services for those who want help getting started. Customers can call ahead or stop in to meet with staff in Ann Arbor. Warranties are available on the furniture, so it's worth asking about coverage before buying.
