The Penny Seats

The Penny Seats is a nonprofit theatre company that stages plays and musicals with a focus on keeping shows fun, stirring and affordable. Its upcoming productions include The Opera Ghost, a gothic drama set beneath the Palais Garnier, and Chasing Clouds, a story about two elderly cloud farmers.

Shows are performed at Cahoots Event Center on East Huron Street in Ann Arbor, and tickets are sold through the company's website. The group also holds auditions for actors and recruits crew members, and it accepts donations and mailing list sign-ups.
