R. Rasch, Inc.

R. Rasch, Inc. supplies bulk salt and bagged ice melters to snow removal companies and contractors. The company says it was the first to import bulk salt into Detroit from overseas for the industry and now serves snow removal customers across Michigan. Its stated focus is never running out of salt during storm season.

Bulk salt can be bought outright with payment in full, and the company says storage is free until March 31, 2027. Customers can get statewide delivery in 25 to 50 ton loads, arrange their own trucking from the mine or docks with a 25 ton minimum, or pick up smaller quantities at the Ann Arbor yards. The business says it is open around the clock during ice and snow events. The Ann Arbor location is at South State Road.
