Krazy Jim's Blimpyburger

Krazy Jim's Blimpyburger is a hamburger stand that has served Ann Arbor since 1953. The burgers are small, stacked and made to order, with beef ground in-house daily. Hand battered onion rings, steak cut fries, homemade soups and chili, and housemade cookies and brownies round out the menu.

Orders are placed directly with the cook, and customers watch the burger being made on the grill. The shop is at 304 South Ashley Street in Ann Arbor and still gives out $2 bills and 50 cent pieces as change. Hours are listed as 11am to 9pm Sunday and 11am to 10pm Friday and Saturday, with Mondays closed.
