Karnik Pet Lodge

Karnik Pet Lodge has cared for dogs and cats since 1973, offering dog daycare by the full day or half day, overnight lodging in private suites, cat lodging, bathing, and boarding for exotic small animals. Its suites are spacious and open to fresh air and natural light, and the indoor and outdoor play yards are lined with K9Grass turf.

Dogs and cats need a temperament evaluation before daycare or lodging, and dogs must be spayed or neutered by six months of age to attend daycare. Bookings can be made online or by phone, and last-minute stays are accepted when space is available, though holidays fill up quickly. Dogs are grouped by temperament, size, and energy level. The Ann Arbor lodge is one of two, with the other in Toledo, Ohio.
