Ideal Body Piercing does body piercings and sells implant-grade and precious-metal jewelry, with designers such as Anatometal, BVLA, Buddha jewelry and Neometal. Every new piercing starts with a consultation to check that the anatomy suits the placement, and piercers will advise on placement or a different type of piercing. Fees are charged separately from jewelry, so a single piercing costs $40 plus the jewelry.

Appointments are booked through the website. Every service uses disposable supplies, and implements and jewelry are sterilized for each procedure. Minors need to meet the shop's age requirements before booking. The shop is at 211 E. Liberty St. in Ann Arbor, and gift cards can be bought online.
