Dog O Mat

Dog O Mat is a dog wash and grooming shop on Jackson Ave in Ann Arbor, open since 2009. Dog owners can wash their own dog at waist-high tubs stocked with shampoo, towels and brushes, or hand the job to professional groomers for a full bath, haircut or de-skunking treatment. The shop also sells toys, supplies and premium food.

Self-service baths and walk-in nail trims need no appointment during business hours, while full-service grooming and de-skunking are booked by phone or online. Self-service baths start at $20, and the last bath begins 30 minutes before closing. Staff are patient with nervous dogs, and all breeds and sizes are welcome. The shop is locally owned and backed by Karnik Pet Lodge.
