Banks & credit unions in Ann Arbor

Banks and credit unions help you hold your money safely and borrow when you need to. Many local branches offer checking and savings accounts, certificates of deposit, online banking, consumer loans, auto loans, mortgages, and credit cards, and some also arrange title insurance for home purchases. Services and terms vary, so the same product can cost quite different amounts from one institution to the next. Before you open an account or apply for a loan, ask for the full fee schedule and the annual percentage rate in writing. If you plan to buy a home, contact a lender early, since mortgage approval and title work take time and are easier to plan for ahead of your closing date.
