Ronneburg Restaurant

Ronneburg Restaurant is a family-style restaurant in the Amana Colonies, serving breakfast, appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts alongside its signature family-style entrées, which also come in a smaller plated version. The restaurant has been open since 1950 in a building that was once the colony's communal kitchen.

Groups can book a family-style menu for parties over 12, and a second-floor private room called the Beer Garden is available for rental; calling ahead is the way to reserve it. A full bar offers Millstream and German beers on tap, Amana fruit wines and Ackerman Winery wines. Reservations are needed for the annual Thanksgiving Day special, which is the only option that day. The five dining rooms feature paintings by local artists and photographs of old Amana.
