Community First Health Centers

Community First Health Centers is a community health center offering primary and family medicine, women's health, behavioral health, dental care, homeless health care, and WIC nutrition services. It has been providing care in St. Clair and northern Macomb counties since 1975, previously operating as Downriver Community Services, and it is a nonprofit with a community-based board of directors.

All patients, insured or not, are welcome, and the center offers a reduced-rate sliding fee program for the uninsured or underinsured. Translation services, including sign language, are available during appointments. The Algonac location is at 555 St. Clair River Drive, and there are also medical and dental clinics in New Haven and Port Huron. A teen health center is planned for the Port Huron High School campus.
