Veterinarians in Albuquerque

Veterinarians care for pets and other animals, from routine checkups and vaccinations to dental work, surgery and emergency visits when an animal suddenly gets sick or hurt. Some clinics also offer imaging, in-house lab testing, online pharmacy refills or care for exotic animals, so it helps to match your pet's needs to what a clinic actually provides. Before you choose, call and ask whether the vet sees your type of animal, whether they handle emergencies or refer them elsewhere, and what hours they keep. If your pet needs a routine visit, book early, since good appointment times can fill up. For urgent problems, find out ahead of time which clinic is open after hours so you are not searching while your animal is in distress.
