Specialty food shops in Albuquerque

Specialty food shops stock the ingredients and everyday staples that larger grocery stores often don't carry in depth. Many of the shops listed for this town offer things like loose leaf tea, herbal blends, spices, bulk herbs, infused olive oil, and tea infusers or teaware, so you can often find both a single ingredient and the tools to use it. When you call ahead, ask whether the item you want is in stock and whether they sell it by the ounce or in packaged sizes, since bulk prices and pack sizes can differ a lot. Before you visit, check the listed hours, because smaller shops often close on certain weekdays or for lunch.
