Two public campus courses with NCAA tournament history3601 University Boulevard Southeast, Albuquerque, NM
The University of New Mexico Golf Course runs two public courses on the university campus in Albuquerque: the Championship Course, opened in 1967, and the North Course, built in 1942. The Championship Course has hosted several NCAA Division I men's golf championships and was ranked the top public course in New Mexico by Golfweek in 1991. The North Course was the first course in America to break the 7,000-yard barrier and has hosted early professional and NCAA events.
The course offers instruction, passes, tournaments, and weddings and banquets, and the Lobo Grill serves food on site. Tee times can be booked online. Golf staff can be reached by phone for questions about rates, passes and events. The course is at 3601 University Boulevard Southeast in Albuquerque.
