Real Life Prosthetics™

Real Life Prosthetics makes custom prostheses, including computerized prosthetic knee systems, myoelectric arms and all-plastic limb and finger restorations, along with custom orthotic braces fabricated in-house. The practice works with patients from pediatric to geriatric amputees, including many veterans, and its team includes certified prosthetists and orthotists.

Care is set up as a full rehabilitation path, with physical therapy offered alongside fitting and a resource section for people new to amputation. The main Abingdon clinic handles in-house fabrication of sockets and orthotic devices. Other locations are in Towson, Chestertown and Wilmington and Newark, Delaware, and the practice has been operating since 2001.
