Jose's Mexican Food

Jose's Mexican Food serves homemade Mexican dishes based on the Jara family's recipes, from breakfast plates and burritos to tacos, seafood and platters. Jose and Martha Jara started the concept after opening their first taco shop in Glen Avon in 1989, and the menu draws on the countryside of Zacatecas, Mexico, where the family is from. Nachos, fajitas and chicken salad are also on the menu, along with beer and margaritas.

Locations in Riverside, Yucaipa, San Bernardino, Redlands and Moreno Valley take orders online, and catering and family or party packs are available. Most stores keep the same daytime-to-evening schedule every day, with the Yucaipa shop open later on Friday and Saturday nights. Jose's also runs a free Rewards Club and sells gift cards.
