Hyperion Coffee Co. sells specialty coffee, including single-origin lots from Honduras, Ethiopia, Indonesia, El Salvador and Guatemala. Its house blends, such as the Titan Espresso Blend and the Prometheus Dark Roast, are meant for espresso and for a heavier, chocolate-leaning cup.

Beans come whole or ground in 0.75, 2 and 5 pound bags, with grind options from drip and pour over to French press, Chemex and Aeropress. Orders can be placed online. Hyperion also runs a wholesale program and offers equipment sourcing, consultation, repair and preventative maintenance. There are two locations, one in Ypsilanti and one in Ann Arbor.
