LifePath

LifePath is a Christian ministry in York that provides emergency shelter, meals and support for people experiencing homelessness and poverty. It runs single men's, single women's and family shelters on and near West Market Street. Guests work with case managers who help connect them to healthcare, addiction and recovery services, and to plans for employment and housing.

Anyone facing homelessness or poverty in the area is welcome to ask for help, and families and individuals seeking shelter call the main line and ask for the shelter extension that fits their situation. LifePath also runs thrift stores in South York, York, East York and Red Lion. Donations of gently used clothing, housewares and furniture support the shelters, and the stores give vouchers to people in need so they can shop for clothing and housewares.
