Toots Ice Cream

Toots Ice Cream makes ice cream, gelato and sorbets by hand in small batches. The shop started in 1998 in a renovated rail car, and the ice cream mix comes from a local dairy in Windham while milk from the owners' own goats goes into the gelato. Ice cream cakes and cupcakes can be ordered ahead using the shop's order forms.

The main shop in North Yarmouth has dine-in seating and is open year round Tuesday through Sunday. A seasonal Caboose location at the farm is closed for the season. Birthday parties and private events are held at the main shop, where the dining room can be rented starting at $100 for an hour. Sundae and waffle sundae bars are available for events, and guests can bring their own food and drinks.
