Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is an outpatient eating disorder and diet recovery center offering therapy and dietitian care for people dealing with food and body image issues. The practice was started in 2020 by two clinicians, Amy and Rhonda, who met in an eating disorder treatment facility in 2001 and now both work in private practice with more than 40 years of combined experience.

The center follows Health At Every Size and Intuitive Eating principles, focusing on flexible eating based on hunger and satiety rather than weight control. New clients can reach out by phone or through the contact form on the website to request an appointment and name the provider they want to see. The center does not accept Medicare, MaineCare or Medicaid. Its therapists accept several private insurers, including Anthem/Blue Cross, Harvard Pilgrim, Optum, United, Tufts, Community Health Options and Health Plans Inc., and its dietitians accept a similar list that also includes Aetna and Cigna.
