Modern Energy

Modern Energy installs heat pumps, mini-split systems, central air conditioning and heating, home insulation and air sealing, and rooftop or ground-mount solar with battery backup. The company is a Mass Save heat pump participating contractor and handles rebate paperwork for customers, with rebates on heat pumps listed up to $8,500 and up to $16,000 for income-eligible households.

Consultations and estimates are free and no-commitment, and installation is done by the company's own in-house crews rather than subcontractors. The office is at 24 Rockdale St in Worcester, and the company says it serves Worcester County, Middlesex County and surrounding parts of central Massachusetts and Greater Boston.
