Oil & Gas Insurance Agency places commercial insurance and bonding for the exploration and production side of the energy business. Its clients include lease operators, contract operators, drillers, service contractors, regional utilities, processors, and distribution systems, along with equipment manufacturers and other oil and gas related companies. The agency was established in 1979 in Columbus and now holds licenses in several oil and gas producing states.

The agency works with a group of large international underwriters and regional specialty carriers. It has a Wooster office at 615 Riffel Road, with additional offices in Grove City and Orrville, and it is part of the Hummel Group, an independent agency with offices in Wooster, Orrville and Berlin.
