Sandbox VR

Sandbox VR runs room-scale, multiplayer full-body virtual reality experiences in a 4,500-square-foot venue. Groups pick from a range of worlds such as Deadwood Mansion, Squid Game, Stranger Things: Catalyst, Age of Dinosaurs and Rebel Moon: The Descent. Players wear trackers on their wrists, ankles and head, and haptic vests let them feel in-game hits, so the whole body moves inside the game.

No gaming experience is needed, and hosts walk each group through setup and the game. Sessions are booked ahead online, though staff will sometimes take walk-ins. The location is at The Village outdoor mall in Woodland Hills, on the Costco side near XOC Tequila Grill and Joey's. Birthday parties, corporate team events and large group bookings are a major part of what happens here.
