Lisa Brown Law is a family-focused law practice centered on estate planning. Lisa Brown, the principal attorney, earned her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown, and she is licensed in Virginia and Washington, D.C. Before focusing on trusts and estates, she practiced family law, criminal law and bankruptcy in Virginia and the District.

The firm offers a free 15-minute phone consultation to start, followed by a legacy planning session that reviews the documents in an estate plan and how assets would be distributed. Signings can be done in person or virtually, with a notary and witnesses present, and the finished plan is delivered in a binder with a thumb drive.
