MAINE WOOD FLOORS

Maine Wood Floors sells, installs and refinishes flooring, with solid hardwood at the center of the work. The team handles solid hardwood installation, sanding and refinishing, and restoration of older pine floors, along with vinyl, cork, laminate and bamboo options. Gym floors, large spaces such as schools, staining, and repairs after water or fire damage are also part of the business.

Estimates are free and are done in the home, and customers can request one through the website. The company keeps a showroom where people can look at samples and compare options, and it markets hardwood sourced in Maine. Weekday hours include a midday break, and Saturdays are by appointment only. The shop is on Main Street in Winterport.
