Affinity Counseling & Wellness

Affinity Counseling & Wellness is a group of mental health counselors who work with children, adolescents, adults and families. The practice treats a range of concerns and draws on social, psychological, emotional and spiritual principles, with the view that mind, body and spirit should all be considered. Its group offerings include dialectical behavior therapy for adults and adolescents, and integrative restorative yoga groups that combine yoga with behavioral health practices.

Staff are especially prepared to help Christians bring faith into behavioral health treatment, though people of any background or belief are welcome and their beliefs are respected. The practice is on South Stratford Road in Winston-Salem and accepts a number of insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. Hours run on weekdays during the daytime.
