Wilmington Treatment Center

Wilmington Treatment Center is a licensed hospital that provides addiction treatment for adults, including inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Founded in 1984 by people whose lives had been touched by addiction, the center treats substance abuse, chemical dependency and certain co-occurring mental health disorders. Its medical director is certified in addiction medicine, and the team includes registered nurses, licensed clinicians, certified substance abuse counselors and a licensed recreational therapist.

The center offers individual, group and family therapy along with recreation therapy, and has separate groups for young adults and middle adults as well as gender-specific groups for men and women. Operation Recovery is a treatment track for active-duty military members, veterans and first responders, and Foundations Training serves people living with chronic pain. The center operates around the clock, and its residential and outpatient locations are on Troy Drive in Wilmington.
