The Brooklyn Arts Center

Brooklyn Arts Center is a historic event venue in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina, made up of a restored 1888 church and the adjacent 1910 schoolhouse known as The Annex. It is best known for weddings, with a sanctuary that can accommodate up to 250 guests, original stained glass and two-story windows, plus a bridal suite in the manse. Fundraisers, art shows and vintage flea markets are also held here.

The Annex can accommodate up to 140 guests across two floors and includes a cocktail lounge. A large fenced courtyard behind the manse can host up to 250 guests for a ceremony or cocktail hour. A newer private bourbon bar sits in the south tower of the church balcony, suited to weddings or corporate events. The venue is also available to outside concert promoters, whose vendors provide their own sound and lighting systems.
