Spark'd Creative Pastry

Spark'd Creative Pastry is a bakeshop and coffee bar in Wilmington that bakes scones, muffins, croissants, bagels and breads fresh each morning. Executive pastry chef Leah Ferrara builds the menu around sweet and savory flavors, using natural, whole ingredients, and the case also includes cookies and brownies. Espresso drinks and coffee are made with beans from La Colombe.

Custom celebration cakes and wedding cakes are a specialty, and wedding inquiries are taken through the website. There are two locations: one in the I.M. Pei Building on North Market Street and one at the Hotel du Pont on West 11th Street. Both are early-morning stops, with weekday hours ending early afternoon and weekend hours that differ by location.
