For the Love of Dogs, LLC

For the Love of Dogs, LLC is a pet care company that offers dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, overnight care and doggie daycare. The company covers cats, reptiles, chickens and ducks as well as dogs, and says it has cared for pets in over 500 homes since 2000. Services include dog walks in 15, 30 and 45 minute lengths, drop-in visits for dogs and cats, and overnight stays either in the client's home or in the sitter's home.

Visits can be daily, weekly or as needed, and a meet and greet is arranged before a first booking so the sitter can learn where food, leashes and alarm systems are kept. The company serves North Wilmington, parts of Newark and Hockessin/Pike Creek in Delaware, and Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Doggie daycare is held in a home with a fenced yard, and pick-ups and drop-offs are included in the price. Dog training has been limited since 2024, with private lessons and board and train programs no longer offered.
