Delaware Rug Company

Delaware Rug Company is a family-run flooring business that sells and installs wall-to-wall carpet, hardwood, laminate and luxury vinyl plank. It also cleans oriental and area rugs and offers residential carpet cleaning, serving both homes and commercial customers. The company traces its roots to Jack Michael, who began washing and repairing oriental rugs from his home in Wilmington more than 70 years ago, and it is now run by the second generation with Nick Michael handling customers.

Free estimates are available by phone, and the showroom is at 5 Forrest Avenue in Wilmington. Professional installation is part of the service, and the company is fully licensed and insured. Weekday hours run in the late morning to late afternoon, with shorter Saturday hours and Sunday closed.
