Café at Island Homemade Scoop Shop

The café at Island Homemade Ice Cream serves made-to-order breakfast sandwiches and grilled cheese sandwiches, along with coffee, tea, pastries and the company's small-batch ice cream. Signature sandwiches include the Southwest, with jalapeños and Sriracha, and the Ludlow grilled cheese with caramelized bacon and apple. Scoops come in cups or cones, and the menu also covers milkshakes, floats, soups and ice cream pies.

The café is open daily from 7am to 7pm at the scoop shop on Commerce Street in Williston. Sandwiches are pressed and grilled to order on bread baked by Great Harvest in Burlington, or on a croissant for a small upcharge. Ice cream is made by hand in Vermont, and the company also sells pints and cups from its freezer.
