Red Oak Brewery

Red Oak Brewery brews unfiltered, unpasteurized lagers and calls itself North Carolina's oldest brewery, operating since 1990. The brewing follows the 1516 Bavarian Purity Law, using water, malted barley, hops and yeast. The brewery also runs a Lager Haus and Biergarten, a Hummin' Bird Hall gallery and the Griffith Fine Art Museum on the same property.

The facility is 21 and over only, with no infants allowed. Food trucks, festivals and live music are scheduled through the brewery's social media and event calendar. Red Oak is at 6905 Konica Dr in Whitsett, and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
