V&V Carpet Care

V&V Carpet Care cleans carpets, area rugs, upholstery, and tile and grout, and also handles carpet repairs, odor control, and spot and stain removal. The company also does commercial work, from offices to manufacturing facilities. Owner Matthew Hooks started the business in Central New York in 2007 and named it after his two children. The company is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration and is a member of the Association of Rug Care Specialists. It is described on its site as the only rug care facility between Albany and Rochester that offers professional cleaning of fine area rugs and fabrics.

The shop is on Judd Road in Oriskany, where the business moved in February 2023 after years of operating from the owner's home garage. Hours are weekday business hours, with Saturday visits by appointment only and Sunday closed. Service runs through Clinton, New Hartford, Utica, Rome, and Syracuse, and the company serves the Mohawk Valley region.
