The Dance Studio is a dance school in White Marsh that teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, pom and cheer, Zumba, and wedding choreography. It was established in 1982 to teach dance in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere with an emphasis on technique, quality, and performance.
The studio is run by owner and director Peggy Busey-Bourgeois, who has choreographed for community theaters, high schools, and semi-professional theaters and has taught at CCBC Essex. Most of the teachers have dance backgrounds and college degrees, many in education. The studio is in suites 102 and 103 on Philadelphia Road, and it hosts an annual recital.
