Thayer Sports Center

Thayer Sports Center is a multi-use recreation facility with one and a half ice surfaces, including an NHL-sized rink and a studio rink. Its indoor fieldhouse converts between turf and court space for basketball, volleyball, tennis and pickleball, and it has a fitness center, locker rooms and concession stands. The center opened in 2019 and is home to Thayer Academy as well as the Militia and Vikings hockey clubs.

Ice time and court time can be booked online, and rinks and courts can be rented for events and programs. The center sits on the Thayer Academy South Athletic Campus at 1535 Washington Street in Braintree.
