The Woods of Westminster Golf Course

The Woods of Westminster is a 225-acre golf course in Westminster, Massachusetts, opened to the public in 1998 from a design by the late Albert Zikorus. The rugged terrain gives the course a quirky routing, with a mix of demanding shots and birdie chances on the short track, and two tiki bars sit out on the course. The Bartkus family, who bought the land in 1992, still runs it day to day.

Golfers can book tee times by phone. The course hosts tournaments and weeknight league nights, and its restaurant and bar serves a weekday lunch special. Gift certificates and memberships are also available. Newer golfers say the staff is happy to answer questions, and the scenery is a draw on its own.
