About EDD'S PLACE

The story

Edd's Place is a shoreline cafe in Westbrook, Connecticut. Edd Hannett ran it for more than 20 years before retiring, and Liz Wood, a Westbrook native who grew up wanting to run a cafe like it, has taken it over. Liz has kept the cafe's relaxed, neighborly feel while carrying it on.

The cafe serves local regulars and people passing through, and it offers catering for events. Hours change between the summer and fall-winter schedules, with later evenings on Thursday through Saturday in summer. Delivery is not offered at this time.
