Innerglass Window Systems

Innerglass Window Systems makes custom glass interior storm windows, which are installed inside an existing window so the original window can stay in place. The product is aimed at historic homes, older buildings, apartments, condominiums and commercial properties that want better energy efficiency and sound reduction. Windows are built to the actual opening, so they fit crooked or out-of-square frames, and Tempered Low-E glass, Plexiglas and laminated glass are available.

Installation is typically quick and does not disturb the primary window, and the panels pop in and out without tools for cleaning. Customers can order through the company's website or by phone, and the owners, David and Kimber Degling, handle questions directly. The company is based in Simsbury, Connecticut, and says its windows are made in the U.S. with American parts and labor.
