Toro Plumbing and Mechanical

Toro Plumbing and Mechanical is a plumbing, hot water, and steam heating company run by partners Dave and John Cataneo and Angeline Hudson. The firm is known for steam heat troubleshooting, boiler replacement, oil-to-gas conversions, and repairs on older homes and multi-unit buildings with radiator-based heating. It also installs and services water heaters of all kinds, faucets and fixtures, sump pumps, water softeners, and filtration systems.

The company serves New Jersey clients only. It was previously known as Gateway Plumbing and Heating, and it has said it will honor warranties and service contracts from that business. Annual boiler inspections and maintenance are a regular part of the work. The office is at 591 Valley Street in Orange, and the phone line is the best way to schedule an appointment.
